Kurt first became involved in social justice in college when he founded a free kitchen to serve hungry folks on the streets of Buffalo. In Portland, he worked for Transition Projects and New Avenues for Youth before joining the PHFS team. Kurt loves hanging out with his family, listening to great music, and spending time outdoors. He has more records and guitars than his little house can hold, and they seem to keep multiplying when he isn’t looking. You can often find him on his bike, playing bass, or stopping to pet kitties on the sidewalk.
