Diana was born in Walla Walla, Washington but spent most of her childhood in Eastern Oregon in Milton-Freewater. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Health Care Administration. Go BEAVS!! After graduation she coordinated Oregon’s Latino Tobacco Prevention and Education program for the state for 5 years. She worked as the Lead Staff member with Human Solutions’ Family Winter Shelter. While the position was seasonal, it helped Diana realize that she wanted to continue to work in social work. Diana has a passion for helping and empowering Oregon’s diverse communities. She has been married for 12 years and has two super sweet boys who keep her really busy.
